For our client, international company (chemical industry), we are looking for an Operational buyer interested in leading a small team and purchasing process optimization. Job duties: • direct materials purchasing (adhesives tailend packaging) • sourcing events execution • new or existing supplier contract negotiation • challenge and enrich category objectives, goals and strategies, financial targets, risk mitigation • identify and implement best business partnerships (close cooperation with the purchasing KAMs) • close cooperation with supply chain • contribute to overall operational excellence • leverage KPI reporting from analytical support teams to drive new financial opportunities • leads the Tailend team with focus on supplier base complexity reduction

Employee requirements

Candidates with education suit the position: • Secondary with school-leaving examination • Follow-up/Higher Professional Education • University education (Bachelor's degree) • University education (Master's degree) • Postgraduate (Doctorate) Language skills: English - Advanced (C1) Personality requirements and skills: • 1-3 years of experience in related field • fluent English • strong negotiation and communication skills • independent and self-organized person • attention to details • strong priority setting and judgement • team player with proactive approach • analytical skills (advanced MS Excel is a must) • Power BI is a plus • experience with process standardization and simplification
