Progressive Insurance company is looking for an experienced Cost controller for their start up division to take over the all actual expenses within assigned entity.
You would be in close cooperation with Head Management and Global FP&A team.
Job scope:
- Quarterly and annual closings
- Complex processing and controlling of costs and transactions (actual, forecasted, planned)
- Overseeing of compliance with accounting regulations (IFRS/US GAAP)
- Regular reporting to the local and US Head Cost Management
- Thorough analyses and evaluation of financial statements, ad hoc reports, expense information
Employee requirements
- Proven experience from related area (ideally also insurance field)
- Fluency in English (C1)
- Strong understanding of IFRS/US Gaap
- University degree in Economics / Finance /Accounting
- SAP (preferably)
- PC skills especially MS Office (Excel)
