An import/export specialist plans and manages product shipments both locally and abroad. They also keep open lines of communication with affiliated businesses, working together to make sure that all items and processes comply with the organization's standards and regulations.
Your role:
- Coordinating the entire export process, orders with warehousing and shipping companies, as well as with authorities as necessary.
- Check that goods are delivered in accordance with customer specifications, look into discrepancies, and fix them as necessary with credit notes or debit notes by tracking shipments to verify that they arrive at their destinations precisely and on schedule.
- Error handling and system flow monitoring related to EDI
- Gathering export and import paperwork, using a fundamental knowledge of import/export laws and requirements to serve business needs
- Work on projects for continuous improvement, such as testing tools and systems, to improve quality or cut down on time.
Employee requirements
• University degree is an advantage
• Min. 5 years of experience in Logistics/Import/Export is a must
• Fluent in English language
• Experience with SAP & MS office
• Knowledge of standard regulations in import/export that go along with various domestic and international protocols is an advantage
• Flexibility and adaptability to changes
• Problem solving, accuracy and attention to details
• Team player with Professional attitude
• Proficient customer service, order processing knowledge is an advantage
• Experience with migration of tasks is an advantage
