For our client, international company (chemical industry), we are looking for a Data Analyst with strong analytical skills interested in development in purchasing department. Job duties: • close cooperation with Purchasing department and suppliers • support and administration of the bidding events (electronic tenders and auctions) • comprehensive post-event analysis and data interpretation • communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders • support global team with supplier negotiation preparation • regular support in reporting supplier participation • develop data models and tools to analyze category spend and identify commercial opportunities • adjust and enhance existing dashboards and reporting tools • regular monthly reporting and price development analysis (globally) • active support of the implementation of self-service reporting solutions (PowerBI) • opportunity to participate in variety of projects, including certifications (Lean, Six Sigma)

Employee requirements

Candidates with education suit the position: • Secondary with school-leaving examination • Follow-up/Higher Professional Education • University education (Bachelor's degree) • University education (Master's degree) • Postgraduate (Doctorate) Language skills: English - Advanced (C1) Personality requirements and skills: • active level of English (written & spoken) • 1-2 years of experience in analytics (for Junior candidates it is advantageous) • good communication skills • active level of English (written & spoken) • strong MS Office (advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint is a must) • experience in PowerBI as a plus • strong analytical and modeling skills • ability to manage and meet deadlines & multitask daily activities • motivated team player • willingness to learn & continuously work on increasing the reporting expertise
