Job offer information
For one of our client we are looking for expert in procurement to work with suppliers, internal customers or other stakeholders - Procurement and supply (prices or total costs, timescales, quality, innovation, sustainability, etc.) within categories including contract management, supplier/contractor management and claims management. - Analyze the competitive forces and trends that influence markets that the organization, its suppliers and customers operate in - Use monitoring and control processes or systems to manage risk in procurement and supply - Research and use data on market change to inform decision making and mitigate risk - Encourage and manage innovation in the supply chain using appropriate tools and techniques - Manage identification and analysis of strategic optimization levers - Analyze the main types of contractual agreements that can be made between customers and suppliers and identify the circumstances for each to be used - Evaluate submitted quotations or tenders on the basis of objective criteria - Provide guidance to stakeholders and promote the use of e-tendering tool - Analyze the use of reverse auctions in the sourcing process and advise suppliers and other stakeholders on their use - Research information on suppliers using appropriate sources of information to select appropriate suppliers and evaluate the financial, commercial and technical capabilities of potential suppliers - Negotiate with stakeholders/suppliers, demonstrate and encourage best negotiation practice in delivering added value - Apply value for money criteria to the procurement of goods and services in sourcing processes and performance measurement taking account of market trends - Manage contracts within the category including enforcement, leakage identification, claim resolution, re-negotiations and prolongations - Monitor the supply of goods and services to ensure required performance standards and KPIs are achieved - Conduct audits with suppliers to verify performance and costs and take action to remedy any queries on information and data gained
Employee requirements
- University Degree – Master: Business or Economy - Professional experience from 3 - 7 years on similar position - Functional procurement knowledge - State-of-the-art transactional procurement procedures knowhow including understanding for public procurement - Relevant technological understanding and experience of the key supply markets are an advantage - State-of-the-art IT skills, including SAP, MS Office, Procurement applications, etc. - Willingness to travel
